An interview with one of the world\u2019s female TOP ranked kitesurf professionals"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The final weeks of an incredible trip in Central America (Belize and Mexico) in Spring 2006, I spent in the Puerto Vallarta area on the West coast of mainland Mexico. Visiting a friend who I have not seen in a couple of years, I found myself in a small town, with the name Bucerias that I totally fell in love with. Especially the people there, a bunch of funny, kite- and ocean-obsessed Mexicans, made me change my ticket back home quite a few times. <\/p>\n<p>Bucerias, situated right at the Bahia de Banderas, a huge lagoon with numerous spots for pretty much any wind direction was a great place to kite. When the regional newspaper \u2018Vallarta Tribune\u2019 asked me for an interview, I was stoked, even more so after the paper got published, featuring kitegabi on the cover!<br \/>\nI remember the photoshoot fror the cover shot very well. Ex-skydive professional Fritz Pfnuer, a lovely chap and good friend by now, came out on a small dingy and asked me to jump over the boat.
