It\u2019s been almost four weeks since my last update … sooooory, guys!!\u00a0 But after those quite stressful first weeks in Brazil\u00a0 –\u00a0 3 events in 3 weeks\u00a0 –\u00a0\u00a0 and my beautiful victory at the Team World Cup in Flexeiras\u00a0\u00a0 –\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 me and my team, the \u201cNorth Rebels\u201d, won\u00a0 :oP\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 –\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I allowed myself some valuable time-off.<\/p>\n
Yeah, after the competition in Flexeiras, I went further up north, to Jericoacoara, Ceara. For the ones, who don\u2019t know \u2018Jeri\u2019 (as it\u2019s called shortly):\u00a0 You miss out on a unique place, big time !!!\u00a0 Jeri is magical … previously a small fishing village in a nature reserve, behind sanddunes with lots and lots and lots of wind, the most beautiful sunset (best seen from the huuuge sanddune just beside the village or for water enthusiasts, I found an even better way … more to that in a second…), lovely people, a very special atmosphere and sooooo much more!\u00a0 There are no concrete streets here, only sand … haven\u2019t been wearing any shoes in ages … sooo cool!!!<\/p>\n
So yeah, I stayed away from the computer for a bit nd enjoyed the brasilian vibrations & \u2018tranquilidade\u2019!<\/p>\n
Kiting is prohibited just infront of the village. The bay here is reserved for windsurfers, nevermind, cause there is Prea.\u00a0 It\u2019s a small fishing village just next to Jeri and the endless beach here, is purely for kitesurfers. It\u2019s just mindblowing!<\/p>\n
For me, THE best, however, here is:<\/p>\n
– the downwinder from Prea to Jeri<\/p>\n
– my almost daily LONGBOARD-KITE-SUNSET-sessions in Jeri\u2019s main bay\u00a0 (cause in the evening, when the wind gets lighter and only a few windsurfers try to stay alive out there, kitesurfing is oked .. as long as you know well what you\u2019re doing!!).\u00a0 Enjoying the sunset from out here, is THE best and every evening, I feel so privileged inhaling the super strong energy that mother nature has for all of us!<\/p>\n
Dudes, the ones who have never tried: Kite-Longboarding is THE greatest fun!! And my Vegas 06\u00a0 9m2\u00a0 amazes me more and more. Even with 8 knots, I still managed a true longboard-joyride ….<\/p>\n
