Wooow, after almost a whole week of waiting for the wind, the veery last day, it suddenly was there…. We had an early skippers meeting (7am) and a 13 hours day but got some results and that’s sweet.<\/p>\n
Yeah, how funny was that…after a week of chillin’ in the Austrian spring, the night before the last day the wind suddenly picked up. A bad weather front brought us some rain but also some strongs winds … who would have thought that we would be rockin on 10’s and 12’s (some girls were even on 6’s and 8’s !!) !?<\/p>\n
In tthe single elimination, I came 4th \ud83d\ude42\u00a0\u00a0 soooo nice !! Unfortunately couldn’t hold my position in the double\u00a0 (it was also quite a disputable double elimination format with heats of 5 minutes instead of 7 due to the lack of time…!?) but came 5th overall and that’s a beautiful victory for me in my own country.<\/p>\n
In the men’s Etienne Lhote won first time (congrats dude!!) in front of Kevin Langeree who kicked out worldchamp Aaron Hadlow.<\/p>\n
