Kitesurfing in a bikini in my opinion is a no, no … full stop.\u00a0\u00a0 Already just thinking of the sun and the damage it can (and will) do to your skin if you’re out on the water (the reflection of water attracts the sun and UV even stronger than out on land) all day on a frequent basis, grrrrr, you will look like an old bag even before you hit your thirties!!!\u00a0\u00a0 That’s why whenever I go kitesurfing I always wear a rashi…\u00a0 in addition a rashi or lycra can have true added value, when you get in contact with jellie fish or even worse: fire coral or reef\u00a0 (mind you a lycra usually is too thin to keep you from sustaining wounds when getting in serious contact with a reef).<\/p>\n
YES, for photoshoots sometimes I do put on a bikini top, which has come undone on several occasions like when I was dumped by a really big wave and so on…\u00a0\u00a0 talk about embarrassing, when there’s even photos existing of those unforgettable ‘Oooops-moments’.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dont worry about it ..it happens to everyone \ud83d\ude09\u00a0 !

Have you ever gone kitesurfing in a bikini and experienced a mishap? Last week a guy-friend and i went kiting together so I decided I wanted to look sexy and wore only very short boardshorts, a waist harness and a bikini top. I live in a beach town where the water is really warm. But anyway, I got totally wiped out and my bikini twisted to the side. I didn’t realize this until I got back up onto the board and felt the difference, but right then we were facing each other as my friend stopped close to where I wiped out to see if he could help… Obviously I fixed up matters as quickly as I could (whilst still keeping the kite in air, I wanted to escape this horribly embarrasing situation in the fastest way possible…) riding away from my friend’s wiiiide grin. Do you ever kite in a bikini, I’m sure for photoshoots you have to do that?
