Incredible, a whole week at one of the windiest places on earth and still no real results at the KPWT Wavemasters 2007 in Guincho, Portugal. Not that unusual afterall, I simply call it: the \u2019typical competition dilemma\u2019 as in: no matter which spot and how \u2019reliable\u2019 it normally is as soon as a competition hits off, the wind, waves dissapear&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>In the female division, we managed to complete the semi-finals, in which I also managed to worked my way up into.  The conditions were really on the edge of \u2019do-able\u2019 with max. 10 knots and choppy sea, however, the organisation still decided to give it a go pushing it to the max in order to get some results.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sometimes things simply don\u2019t work out as expected.
