For your FREE WALLPAPER<\/strong> for the month of September<\/strong>, I have chosen a photo taken by Jason Pini, during my once-in-a-lifetime-adventure to Papua New Guinea.<\/p>\n

Papua New Guinea is a truly hidden paradise. An absolutely unique place, way back in time…\u00a0 The country and its people are incredibly special and so lovely.<\/p>\n

My trip was divided into 3 stages. This very shot’s been taken pretty much right at the start, when I was privileged to spend one week in a tiny little village on the\u00a0 “Trobriand Islands”, <\/em>which are also known as “Islands of Love”.<\/em><\/p>\n

People in that village have only been hosting a guest\u00a0 o n c e\u00a0 before, that was in 2002, you can imagine, that when the blond, strong girl with all her ‘colourful toys’ arrived, it was all super exciting for all the inhabitants of the island as well as for me.<\/p>\n

When I first pumped up my kite at the pier of the main harbour and went out for a little ‘show’, the people went\u00a0 n u t s.\u00a0 The whole island came and watched me… They screamed and cheered, they simply couldn’t understand what’s happening out there with the ‘blond flying girl’…\u00a0 Fishermen came out on their small outrigger boats to check out closely what’s going on… The locals even told me that I would enter the ‘history books’ of the Trobriand Islands \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 !\u00a0 It was such an incredibly strong experience that I will never forget in my whole life.<\/p>\n

Only with the help of Jason Pini, the photographer, but also dear friend by now and his lovely family, I could pull off this trip and I would like to take this opportunity to say “THANX again for\u00a0 e v e r y t h i n g mate, this adventure will stay in my heart & mind forever” !<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
