The Cape Verde islands are a small archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic, 1,500 kilometres south of the Canary Islands and approximately 450 kilometres off the western coast of Senegal. It is formed by 10 main islands of which all are volcanic, but an active volcano exists only on one of the islands, Fogo. Sal is touristically the most developed island for the time being, although \u2018developed\u2019 gets a new meaning here… <\/p>\n
