The qualifier for the big Red Bull King of the Air final in Maui, Hawaii, set in Dubai, a unique and very special place for a kitesurfing event.  <\/p>\n<p>Imagine that:  one of the competitors was a Sheik. He arrived in a Ferrari and had a servant, who inflated the kite, put out the lines, got all ready for the Sheik, even launched the kite and only then the Sheik came over and hooked himself in&#8230;hehehehe. The competition was great fun and consisted of 2 disciplines: Freestyle and Race. The Race was held on the famous \u2018Palm construction\u2019 , we were taken by boats to one of the palm-leaves and competed racing the way back to the main beach in Dubai. <\/p>\n<p>Kitegabi won the race &#8230; same in Freestyle, sick!! <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What a great fun event, yeah!
