COVERSHOT \ud83e\udd18 — The April issue of Action Asia magazine<\/strong><\/a>, Asia’s & Australasia’s No.1 adventure travel resource<\/strong> has hit newsagents all across the globe. I’m stoked having a huuuuuuge feature inside the mag about a recent explorer mission to an incredibly special place.<\/p>\n

Plus, I scored the cover!! \ud83d\ude4c\ud83d\ude04 (first ever “not kiting” cover of my career).<\/p>\n

It was an expedition to a place adrift in time. A place, not many (if any at all) kitesurfers have ventured to before…. This trip was true pioneering.<\/p>\n

Of course a trip to such a remote place comes with challenges – that’s in the nature of traveling, isn’t it and that’s the real beauty of it: to live the unexpected and to overcome challenges and obstacles to then be rewarded memories and experiences that will last a lifetime.<\/p>\n

I could never have pulled off the trip without Stephan Kleinlein<\/a>, who shot the images to this story. Stephan is one of THE very, very best photographers I’ve ever had the privilege working with. Amazing amazing amazing — check out his work on his website!<\/p>\n
