KITEGABI ON THE PODIUM!!! Yeah, suuuuuuuuper stoked …. I came 3rd in ‘Hangtime’ !

Wow, so sweet … after I was really unlucky in the freestyle – my small competition kite, my brandnew Vegas 5m2 baby, got stolen out of the guarded equipment tent, the night before my heat – I’m super proud to have finished 3rd in the ‘Hangtime’ discipline.  Especially considering the ‘story behind the story of the event’…yep, truly ubelievable indeed, read my write up here !

Fuerte certainly is one of THE hardest events of the Worldcup Tour. With winds reaching up to 9 Bft, extremely gusty and choppy water, the spot represents a major challange to even the best riders. Kitegabi mastered the challenge and could go up onto the stage during the price ceremony in front of thousands of people, who came to see us in competition as well as for THE party of the year.
