Oman – Hors du Temps

This beautiful feature in the French Kiteboarder Magazine tells the story of my trip to Oman in the United Arab Emirates on 8 pages.

Abu Ubaida ibn Abdullah ibn Qassim aka “Sindbad the Sailor” would certainly count as the most famous Omani. His adventures are well known all across the planet and I followed in his foot steps in his home country.

After my really exciting time there, if there’s one thing I’m absolutely sure of, then that’s if Sindbad was still alive, he would be a kitesurfer today 🙂  Oman is simply blessed with amazing conditions and I could only highly recommend a trip there!

On this trip I worked together with Alan Norton, a truly awesome photographer and absolutely great guy. Alan lives with his wife and family in Dubai and he joined me on this very memorable road-trip to the neighboring country Oman. Shooting with Alan was a great pleasure and I truly dig the photos he took.
