Eine Surf-Nomadin an der Weltspitze!

A brief portrait about Kitegabi. Literally the title of the article translates into ‘A surf-nomad amongst the World’s top kitesurfer’. It’s about my background – business career in London and Hong Kong – giving everything up for a dream and succeeding in a rather unusual career for an Austrian.

The photo the newspaper used a friend of mine took from a boat during the Blue Danube X-Challenge, the biggest outdoor festival in Europe. It was such a crazy ‘rodeo-ride’ on a rather narrow part of the Danube, in between subway-bridges right in the middle of Vienna and the craziness of the festival with millions of people left and right, pumping music and the gustiest wind e v e r (channelled by bridges and the city buildings)
