Kerhoeven joins world champion on the podium

What a great fun event, yeah! The qualifier for the big Red Bull King of the Air final in Maui, Hawaii, set in Dubai, a unique and very special place for a kitesurfing event.

Imagine that: one of the competitors was a Sheik. He arrived in a Ferrari and had a servant, who inflated the kite, put out the lines, got all ready for the Sheik, even launched the kite and only then the Sheik came over and hooked himself in…hehehehe. The competition was great fun and consisted of 2 disciplines: Freestyle and Race. The Race was held on the famous ‘Palm construction’ , we were taken by boats to one of the palm-leaves and competed racing the way back to the main beach in Dubai.

Kitegabi won the race … same in Freestyle, sick!!
