La Vie de Pro

Getting paid ‘just’ to go kitesurfing is not quite the reality of kitesurf-professionals.
‘You’re so lucky, you get paid to go kiteing’ is a phrase I hear many times… YES, indeed I am, I feel privileged having found something that I believe so strongly and passionately in as I do in kitesurfing, however, luck is only one piece in the ‘success-puzzle’ in making a living as a kite-pro, focus, sheer determination, 100% commitment, true persistency and talent is at least as important.

In other words: figure out your greatest passion, choose what you wanna be, gung ho attitude & go for it, do not accept ‘no’ for an answer and your dreams might come true…but be prepared that there’s a price you will have to pay for it, it’s all about choices and compromises, just like anything in life but it’s without a doubt t o t a l l y worth it!

Looking into the most common clichés around the life of a kitesurf-professional, not everything in this article should be taken deadly serious !! Most photos were taken on paradise island Caye Caulker in Belize, Central America.
